Our food

We care about food and about giving you a delicious and authentic taste of the south-west of France. So we shop at the local farms, markets and merchants to be sure of the best and freshest produce and supplement with our own home grown vegetables, herbs and summer fruit and eggs from our own chickens. Then we prepare and cook it all simply, but with the flair and imagination to ensure that every dish is a taste sensation and every meal a joy that you will remember long after you have returned home.

The wonderful ‘black’ wine region of Cahors is on our doorstep and provides a wealth of rich red wines to sample. We visit Chateau Chambert, which produces some of our favourite wines, on one of the cycle routes.
